FreeCell Solitaire is a classic card game that has been enjoyed by millions of players for over 30 years. In FreeCell Solitaire, the objective of the game is to move all the cards to the four foundation piles in ascending order from Ace to King.
To begin, shuffle a standard deck of 52 cards and deal them into eight columns. The first four columns each contain seven cards and the remaining four columns each contain six cards. All cards are dealt face up, with the top card of each column being visible.
In FreeCell Solitaire, you can move cards between columns and to the four foundation piles. You may move only one card at a time and can only move the top card of any column. If a column is empty, you may move any card onto it.
Cards in columns must be placed in descending order and alternating colors. For example, you can place a red 9 on top of a black 10. You can also move a sequence of cards as long as they follow these same rules. For example, you can move a black King, Queen, and Jack onto a red Ace.
